Wildcreek Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Sparks, Nevada. There is also a 9-hole executive course co-located at the facility.
The course first opened for play in 1980. The course was designed by Bradford Benz and Richard M. Phelps.
Variety is the signature of Wildcreek, where you`ll face everything from the 150-yard uphill par three to the 515-yard par five. Wildcreek features PGA professionals on staff, available rental clubs, par 72, max. yardage of 6,923, and 18 holes open to the public year-round (weather permitting). The course rating is 72.5 and the slope rating is 133 when playing from the back tees (6,932 yards).
The course closed in November 2019.
The Gazette-Journal reported that the course closed so the Washoe County School District could begin construction of a new high school on that section of the property. The co-located executive course was not closed.
