The golf course at Orchard Hills Golf Club first opened for play in 1952. The course has been redesigened/rennovated by Robert McNeil. Orchard Hills Golf Club is a county-owned course. Orchard Hills has its share of troublesome holes. For starters, the par-4, 277-yard first hole, a dogleg right, has a tree entrenched in the fairway that makes an approach shot a chore. From there, No.4 (par 3, 166 yards) is perhaps the toughest, with its elevated tee shot and tiny green tucked behind a water hazard below.
The golf course at Orchard Hills Golf Club is a challenging par 35, 2,756-yard 9 hole course conveniently located in the center of Bergen County with landscape of distinction, set among beautiful, plush tree groves. Played as 9 or 18 holes this course provides an enjoyable and affordable round of golf.
