Pitman Golf Course

Pitman Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Sewell, New Jersey.

Pitman Golf Course first opened for play in 1927. The course was designed by Alex Findlay.

Pitman Golf Course is a South Jersey classic owned by the County of Gloucester. You won't find any "bells or whistles" and you won't be dazzled by a new modern day design, but what you will find is a home town classic that simply strives to offer you a great golfing experience every time you tee it up.

Pitman Golf Course is a scenic and relatively short and wooded course. Experienced golfers will enjoy this course because it is a fair test of golf. The fairways are wide, and the greens are medium-sized and roll true. Water hazards (creeks) come into play on two holes. This is a great "walk on course" because there is very little tournament play. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6125 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4942 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 528 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 129 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 528 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at the Pitman Golf Course is # 14, a 129 yard par-3.
