Aztec Municipal Golf Course, previously named Hidden Valley Country Club, is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Aztec, New Mexico, minutes from Aztec Ruins National Monument.
The course first opened for play in April 2001.
The course was designed in a Parkland style with rolling fairways, varying from wide open to tree lined. The greens are small and undulating. #1, a 448-yard uphill par-4 is nicknamed, "The mean hole."
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,086 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,564 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 453-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Aztec Municipal Golf Course is # 14, a 499 yard par-5.
