Detailed description
Silver City Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Silver City, New Mexico.

Silver City Golf Club first opened for play in 1962.

Locals consider this to be a fun course. The course has fast greens. The high desert vistas, natural wetlands and gentle year-round weather at 6,000 feet above sea level offer a very special golf experience. One of the tougher holes is #4, a 165-yard, par 3, where you must carry your tee shot at least 125 yards over water to a small, undulating green.

Home of the Annual Billy Casper Benefit Golf Tournament and host to the 2003 New Mexico Women's Amateur Tournaments, the Silver City Golf Course is known as a "jewel in the high desert" and one of the best-kept secrets in Southwest golf.

The golf course at the Silver City Golf Club plays to a par-72 and 6,237 yards from the Blue tees. The course rating is 68.2 and the slope rating is 115.

Blue tees: par-72, 6,237 yards, 68.2/115

White tees: par-72, 5,816 yards, 66.3
