Douglaston Golf Club, previously known as North Hills Country Club, became a municipal course in the early 1960s. Douglaston Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Douglaston, New York.

Douglaston Golf Club first opened for play in 1927. The course was designed by Willie Tucker. Robert Bruce Harris, Frank Duane, and Stephen King have done redesigns on the course.

This short course features narrow fairways, plus many hills that can cause uneven lies. The main features that make this course so difficult are the various required blind shots. Douglaston Golf Course is known for its spectacular views, this short and hilly course will still provide a challenge for even the low handicap golfer. Rare course with seven par 3 holes. The beautiful old clubhouse sits at the entrance to the course (separate catering available). With beautiful wide rolling fairways and hilly terrain, the course provides shots for all levels of golfers. Douglaston is situated at the highest point in the Borough of Queens, providing picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline.
