Shorewood Country Club

Shorewood Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Dunkirk, New York.

Shorewood is one of Western New York's oldest private golf clubs, and one of the only courses located on the shores of Lake Erie. 

Shorewood Country Club first opened for play in 1916. The course was designed by William Harries.

This is a very scenic course. It plays alongside Lake Erie. The course was built on predominantly flat terrain, and the wind often is a major factor for scoring well.  The fast greens are small and undulating. The fairways are about thirty-five yards wide. Water hazards come into play on ten holes.
