Muttontown Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in East Norwich, New York.
The course opened for play in 1959. Muttontown Golf course was designed by Alfred H. Tull. Frank Duane remodeled one hole in 1964, Robert Trent Jones then redesigned the entire course in 1968, followed by Joe Finger in 1971.
The course has fairly narrow and tree-lined fairways. The fast greens are undulating, and water comes into play on several holes. From tee to green, the Muttontown Club is laid at before you. Yes there are dog-legs but not so severe that you faced with a truly blind shot. There are some slight changes in elevation, but nothing that would drastically alter your club selection. Caddies are mandatory if you want to walk the course.
The Club offers the private club ambiance and service that you would image. Immaculate and attentive might describe the Muttontown Club experience.
