Beaver Island State Park Golf Course opened in 1963. The course was designed by William Harries and Russ Tryon.
The Beaver Island State Park Golf Course is a scenic course 18-hole championship course is located in Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island on the Niagara River, between metropolitan Buffalo and the city of Niagara Falls. The fairways are wide, and the greens are medium in size and speed. The terrain is flat and easy to walk. There are out-of-bounds stakes lining three holes. Golfers can enjoy "watchable wildlife" as they play down wide fairways that parallel picturesque ponds leading to generous, gently sloped greens. The course offers a challenge to both the recreational and serious golfer.
