Meadow Brook Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Jericho, New York.
The Meadow Brook Club taces its' history back to 1881. However the club and course have been relocated over the yeras. The last relocation was in the 1950's. The Meadow Brook Club 18 hole course in Jericho, L.I. replaceed their old stomping grounds which New York City Park Commissioner Robert Moses requisitioned for one of his endless parkway extensions. Designed by Dick Wilson, the present day Meadow Brook golf course opened in 1955.
The Meadow Brook Club golf course is a beautiful and well-maintained. The undulating greens are large and fast, and the fairways range from narrow to wide open. This flat course is easy to walk.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7101 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5664 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 617 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 168 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 456 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Meadow Brook Club is # 17, a 373 yard par-4.
