Teugega Country Club
Teugega Country Club first opened for play in 1920. The course was designed by Donald Ross. Ross spent a considerable amount of time The Teugega Golf Course due to personal relationships in Rome. It is said that he scored his first hole-in-one on Teugega's 7th hole. Teugega's course has not been significantly changed from the original Ross design. Ross authorities have stated that it is among the top 10% of original Ross courses in this respect.
This exclusive course has straightaway, hilly fairways, so expect many uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and there are numerous well-placed bunkers throughout the course's design. The great clubhouse overlooks Delta Lake. The signature hole is #7, a 140-yard, par 3, featuring a double-tiered green that can be a real challenge to read correctly.
