Woodstock Golf Club

Woodstock Golf Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in the Hudson River Valley, about 100 miles north of New York City in Woodstock, New York.

Woodstock Golf Club first opened for play in 1929. The course was designed by Ralph Twitchell.

A round of golf on the nine-hole course (which measures 5,456 yards for 18 holes) begins and ends with a walk over the Sawkill Creek. As it winds its scenic way beneath the slopes of Overlook Mountain, the course offers a worthy test of skill to golfers of all abilities. For 75 years the club has hosted the Woodstock Open, which annually attracts a field of top amateur and professional golfers; the legendary Gene Sarazen competed twice in the 1960s.
