Detailed description
Mohansic Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Yorktown Heights, New York.

Mohansic Golf Course first opened for play in 1926. The course was designed by Tom Winton.

Mohansic Golf Course is one of six 18-hole golf courses owned by the Westchester County Park System.

Rolling hills and moderately steep slopes combine to make Mohansic the most challenging of the county's courses, with a combination of moderate length, tight fairways, and small, fast greens. There are many tight holes that are an excellent test of a golfer's ability, with uphill, downhill and side hill shots.

Two of the more challenging holes come early in your round. #3 is a 425-yard par four that begins with a blind tee shot to a narrow, tree-lined fairway. You may also want to hit a longer-than-expected club for your approach, too, since the green is slightly uphill. Once you’re on the putting surface, take a few extra moments to line up your shot—the green is more treacherous than it looks. #4, a 442-yard par-4, calls for a draw around the corner on the uphill dogleg. If your normal tee shot is a fade, aim for the white pine on the corner and hope. It’s a tough tee shot either way since the fairway slopes left to right. Your approach shot on the fourth hole is to an elevated green protected by bunkers on both sides.

Mohansic also has a driving range.

Mohansic Golf Course plays to a par-70 and a maximum distance of 6,558 yards. The course rating is 70.1 and the slope rating is 124.
