Topsail Greens Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Russell Birney.
In September of 2007, they began a course renovation project, designed by Ed Beidel. They closed the back nine in September 2007, at which time they put in a new irrigation system, rebuilt all their tee boxes, changed the layout to 4 of the 9 holes and built new bentgrass greens. The back nine was reopened on March 2008.
