Detailed description
Topsail Greens Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Hampstead, North Carolina, between Wilmington and Jacksonville.

Topsail Greens Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Russell Birney.

In September of 2007, they began a course renovation project, designed by Ed Beidel. They closed the back nine in September 2007, at which time they put in a new irrigation system, rebuilt all their tee boxes, changed the layout to 4 of the 9 holes and built new bentgrass greens. The back nine was reopened on March 2008.

Topsail Greens Golf & Country Club is a flat course that features elevated greens and favors the accurate shotmaker over the long hitters. Natural ponds and lakes come into play on 9 of the 18 holes. The signature hole is #17, a 177-yard par 3 that requires a tee shot to an island green.

Topsail Green Golf Club is a par-71 layout that plays to 6,324 yards. The course rating is 70.8 and the slope rating is121.
