Infrastructure improved somewhat since my last review. Still need to spend some money improving areas between fairways and cart paths. Exterior of clubhouse needs some TLC. First impression, not so hot.

Nothing bad about playing this course, but the infrastructure is deteriorating. Concrete cart paths are 'sinking' in several places. The clubhouse showing lack of repair and general maintenance outside. If the small things are not repaired/replaced soon, they will be spending some big bucks. Power washing, painting, siding repair and rotting wood around entrance to cart garage.

It is a nice course. Tough layout which can intimidate some golfers. Know your yardages before playing this course. Excellent greens. They roll nicely. Driving accuracy is the key. approach shots need to be placed on the proper side of the hole for making pars or birdies. All bermuda greens and rough. The rough is extremely tough around some greens. You won't even find your ball that lies under your nose. How to play Eagle Ridge golf course hole by hole http://eagleridgenc.blogspot.com/

Played this course a lot. Always in good shape all around. A few holes need course management, especially the par 5's. Has 5 par 3's and 5 par 5's. Holes 14, 15, 17 and 18 are great for a match. A bit hilly but the layout does not make it appear so. Layups required everywhere or you pay the price. Nice practice area. Great overall course worthy of Tom Kite.

Well laid out and challenging course. Lot's of elevation changes on several holes, as well as having some flat holes that give you a rest. Love playing there a few times a year.
