Laurel Ridge Country Club

Laurel Ridge Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Waynesville, North Carolina.

The course first opened for play in 1986. The course was designed by Robert Cupp who was for 14 years a chief designer for Jack Nicklaus. The contour of the land, streams, ponds, sand and grass bunkers are all masterfully designed to give each hole its own unique character and challenge. The course offers every challenge expected of a mountain course.

“Every shot must be visibleâ€, said designer Robert Cupp. “If the player sees the shot, the player will remember the shot. My goal is for the players to remember the game.â€

The course features bent grass and 18 holes of championship golf. Fast, undulating greens, lush tree-lined fairways and panoramic views highlight the course.

The back tees play to 6,904 yards, while four other sets of tees, blue at 6,551 yards, white at 6,093 yards, green at 5,174 yards and gold at 4,408 yards, allow golfers to choose positions based on their level of play.
