In 1996 Riverwood was rated by Golf Digest as the second best public golf course in the North Dakota. Riverwood Golf Course is made unique by it's tree lined fairways. Giant cottonwood trees line every hole from tee to green, providing the golfer with a much more challenging course than meets the eye. One thing is for certain - if you want to play Riverwood you better be a straight shooter or the cottonwoods will humble you.
