Sweetwater Golf Course first opened for play in 1953.
The Sweetwater Golf Course was built on hilly terrain, so expect many uneven lies. The large greens are slightly sloped, but easy to read. Even though most of the fairways are tree lined, they do offer generous landing areas. There are no sand bunkers on the course.
Holes #1, #2, and #3 at the Sweetwater Golf Course are blind from the tee boxes. Tall mirrors and a bell help in allowing golfers to keep track of the next players position. The 3rd, 6th, and 9th holes offer a challenge with water. There are only two par 5 holes on the course which the greens can be reached in 2 shots. The course isn't too difficult. A good beginner course
