Losantiville Country Club first opened for play in 1902. The golf course was designed by Tom Bendelow.
Losantiville Country Club Golf Course plays longer than its posted length due to the rolling hills and doglegs that the golfer encounters. The green complexes are very small and are a challenge to hit. Once on the greens, the golfers skill must really surface, as most are sloped from back to front, some severly so. With green speeds an average of 10-11 on the stimpmeter, putting becomes an artform.
The 100 + year old course still stands the test of time. Losantiville Country Club Golf Course was chosen to be in the rotation for the prestigious Cincinnati Metropolitan Championship. In June 2008, there were 223 Met rounds played, only 1 player broke par for their round. This is testament to the challenge that awaits a golfer at Losantiville Country Club.
