Spring Valley Golf and Athletic Club is a Semi-Private 18-hole golf course located in Elyria, Ohio. The former private club now welcomes public golf.
The Spring Valley Golf and Athletic Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1926. The course was designed by Harold Paddock.
The Spring Valley Golf and Athletic Club Golf Course is situated on 215 scenic, wooded, rolling hillside acres nestled in a valley created by the dynamic Black River. Because of the 12,000 acres of the Lorain County Metroparks that surrounds Spring Valley, wildlife abounds. Deer, geese, beaver, fox, and even eagles can be spotted on the course.
The Spring Valley Golf Course plays to a par-72 and maximum distance of 6,555 yards. The forward tees play to 5,440 yards.
Spring Valley Golf and Athletic Club closed in 2013
