Brookside Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Designed by Duffy Martin, the Brookside golf course opened in 1952.
This flat course has fairly wide-open fairways and small greens that slope from back to front. In addition, water hazards (three man-made ponds) come into play on four holes. There are no sand bunkers. This nine-hole course has two par 5's that measure over 500 yards, and 4 very deceiving par 3's.
The signature hole is #5, a 375-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left, narrow fairway, then an approach shot over water to the green.
The course plays to a par-35 and 3,005 yards.
The course closed in 2017.
The archdiocese purchased the 53-acre golf course property at 9016 S Shields for $2.1 million in March 2015.
The archdiocese leased the golf course to Brookside Golf Club, the seller for a period of two years.
