Fire Lake Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Fire Lake first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by Donald Sechrest.
The course is owned and operated by Citizen Potawatomi Nation. The course was built closed from 2015 to 2017 to renovate and bring the course back to a higher level of condition. The renovation was accomplished at a reported cost of $6 million.
This course is easy to walk and has enough variety of terrain to challenge all skill levels of golfer. The greens are severely sloped. Holes #8, #14, and #16 have all been extended for the men, adding approximately 260 yards to the championship tee (now measuring 6,595 yards) for when tournaments are being held.
