Surrey Hills Country Club is a Semi-Private 27 hole golf course located in Yukon, Oklahoma.
Surrey Hills golf course opened in 1965. The course was expanded from 18 to 27 holes in the summer of 2019.
The Golf Club at Surrey Hills has a long and storied history and ranks among the most prestigious in the Oklahoma City area. As a private golf and country club up until 2000, Surrey Hills has seen its own peaks and valleys, mirroring the Oklahoma economy. Now open for public play, The Golf Club at Surrey Hills is located only 15 minutes west of downtown Oklahoma City
Par for the original 18 hole layout is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6593 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5435 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 598 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 169 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 17, a 407 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 2, a 178 yard par-3.
The new nine (2019)
The new nine has smaller greens and a more of a target golf feel than the original 18-holes. Water comes into play on five of the new nine holes. The course is part of a newer real estate project and was built by the developer, which is also building new houses. The facility offers memberships, but outside public golfers account for about 40 percent of its play.
