Uplands Golf & Ski Club, previously named Uplands Golf Country Club, is a semi-private 9 hole golf course located in Thornhill, Ontario.
Uplands first opened in 1922 as an eighteen nine-hole course. The course was designed by Stanley Thompson.
In 1989, urban sprawl engulfed half of the course and Uplands became a nine-hole gem in the middle of the city. The nine holes criss-cross a forested valley filled with mature trees. Your golf game at Uplands will not only be enjoyable but also filled with some of the best scenery available in Toronto and its surrounding area. #4 and #8 are two of the most spectacular par threes in the Southern Ontario Region.
Par for the course is 34. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,744 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,361 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 484 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-6 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 245-yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Uplands Golf Course is # 6, the 149 yard par-3.
