The Highlands at Gearhart is a par 31 executive course, perfect for your short game. The course has 5 par 3's and 4 par 4's. The course overlooks Gearhart Beach. The course measures 1,776 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 29.5 and the slope rating is 94.
This course has grat views of the Pacific Ocean on almost every hole. This course is difficult because of the rough terrain and narrow fairways. Hole #1, a 195-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway past many hazards, then a short approach shot to a well-bunkered green. Hackers will especially love this course because when their game goes bad they can enjoy the great scenery.
This is the only non-smoking golf course in the country.
