Willow Brook Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania.
The course that traces its roots to the 1920's when James Fuller built the original six-hole track for family and friends.
Willow Brook went through an expansion and redesign in the early 2000's to 18 holes, a routing that lasted until 2018. The course closed in November 2018. The course reopened as a nine-hole course in April, 2019.
The layout changed as most of its back nine and driving range land will be converted to housing. The former pro shop sits empty at the original entrance on Howertown Road.
But Willow Brook has a scenic new pro shop and grill, which occupy a former horse barn in the middle of the property. A patio overlooks the first tee (formerly No. 3) and stretches of the course.
The new nine-hole layout retains eight holes (2-9) from the original front nine, along with the former 10th hole, now No. 8. The former second hole, a 365-yard par 4, is now No. 9. The par-35 course stretches to 3,001 yards from its back tees.
Head pro Danny Richie oversees the course, which offers nine- and 18-hole rates along with lessons. League play will return as well, and a driving range is planned.
