Connoquenessing Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania in Ellwood City.
The course first opened in 1919 with as a 9-hole course designed by Emil Loeffler and John McGlynn. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1960.
The course is draped across rolling terrain. There are numerous trees to contend with, and every green is protected by bunkers. Water comes into play on five holes, including #9, a 160-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over a lake.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,085 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,970 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 550 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 430 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 1, a 295 yard par-4.
