Hickory Valley Golf Club is a public, 36 hole golf facility located in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. The facility has two 18-hole championship golf courses. They are: The Ambassador Course and The Presidential Course.
The Presidential Course opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Ron Prichard.
The Presidential Course has a links-style front nine with wide fairways, heavy mounding, and large bunkers. Carved from an old nursery, trees are not in short supply. Two large ponds come into play on holes #5 and #7. The course changes dramatically after hole #11. The greens shrink to half the size and the fairways get tighter and the trees get taller. A difficult finishing hole is #16, a reachable 480-yard, par 5, but your tee shot needs to find the fairway through the forest of hickory trees. Carts are mandatory on the Presidential Course during weekends.
