Neshaminy Valley Golf Club first opened for play in 1969.The course was designed by The Schneider Family.
The front nine is flat to rolling and easy to walk. The hilly back nine is more difficult to walk. Water hazards come into play on a few holes. The greens are medium in size and speed. The fairways are tree lined and bordered by a standard cut of rough. The course is family owned and operated. Jim and George Schneider are the pro shop managers. Nancy Schneider is the teaching professional They are the third generation of Schneiders to operate the club. Charles Schneider (deceased grandfather) played with some of the greats including Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen, and Tommy Armour.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,961 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,747 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 527 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 407 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 8, a 317 yard par-4.
