Indian Mountain Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Kresgeville, Pennsylvania. The entrance is on Route 534 just north of 209.
Indian Mountain Golf Course first opened for play in 1927. The facility at that time was named Ganeaden Country Club.
During the Depression, the course lost money. The course was sold multiple times through the years, but there were no long term owners. That is, until Vance Megargel bought it in 1958. He renamed it Indian Mountain and operated the course until 2000 when it was sold to the current owners.
The No. 8 hole is a 147-yard par 3. The tees are elevated and there is at least a hundred foot drop to the green. There is a large sand bunker almost dead square in front of the green, at approximately the spot where most golfers would land their first ball, if it fell short of the green. The fairways at Indian Mountain are rye grass and the greens are bent grass. This course has many tree-lined fairways with no water hazards. The course has numerous grass bunkers and sand bunkers. The greens are small and fast.
The 9-hole Indian Mountain Golf Course plays to a par-35 and maximum distance of 3,203 yards. The Red tees play to a par-37 and 3,203 yards.
