Our “old style†championship golf course challenges all levels of skill. The newly renovated 18-hole layout plays to par 70 with beautiful holes that challenge golfers of every skill level. Chester Valley has long been considered by most a treasure of Philadelphia golf, and as such was selected to host a Champions Tour event from 1985 to 1997. Chester Valley soon became known as one of the toughest tests on the Champions Tour and #6 has continually been ranked as one of the top five toughest holes; a ranking that often included golf holes played in the Senior U. S. Open.
