King's Mountain opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Ferdinand Garbin.
The course is located in the mountains of Southern Pennsylvania. The course offers a picturesque view of its namesake, King's Mountain. The fairways are open with only a few mature trees lining the course.
The terrain is hilly, and there is a man-made lake that comes into play on hole #6, a 427-yard, par 4.

The course is open from April to December, from dawn-dusk.
