Avalon Golf and Country Club

Avalon Golf and Country Club, previously named Sharon Country Club, is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

The property was sold in 2016 to Ron Klingle. The course now becomes another golf course in Klingle’s Avalon group that includes The Avalon Lakes and The Squaw Creek course.

The course first opened for play in 1907. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.

This is a classic country club golf course that plays from 5,450 yards to 6,369 yards. This course has some of the fastest and well-guarded greens you will see anywhere.

The signature hole is number 18, a truly picturesque par 3 surrounded by water, that can stretch to 220 yards.
