The Cliffs at Glassy first opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Tom Jackson.

The Cliffs at Glassy offers the passionate golfer the ultimate experience – South Carolina’s only mountaintop course, bentgrass from tees to greens, with fifteen holes offering 75-mile views.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6817 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4849 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 606 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 164 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 406 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 8, a 189 yard par-3.
