Star Fort National Golf Course

Star Fort National Golf Course, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Ninety Six, South Carolina.

Star Fort National Golf Course first opened for play in 1967. The course architect was George Cobb.

The course has very little water in play. Although there are many many pine trees, for the most part, the fairways offer generous landing areas. If you get in trouble on this course, it is most likely because of a miss hit versus course design.

The course was named for the American Revolution battle called, "The Assault of Star Fort.

The battle is also known as, "The Siege of Ninety Six, where the nearby town of Ninety Six was named the nearest other fort was 96 miles distant -- Fort Cherokee.
