Links at Lakewood Golf Course, previously named Lakewood Links, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Sumter, South Carolina.
The course first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by J. Porter Gibson.
The course has many trees scattered throughout the layout which can alter your shots. Hazards include several ponds that come into play on eleven holes. The greens are well bunkered and elevated, and there are some sand bunkers in the fairways.
#9, a 421-yard par-4 is the #1 handicaped hole. A pond intersects the fairway right down the middle, making one think twice about hitting their driver off the tee.
#13, a par-3. is the signature hole. From the tee box, golfers take aim at a scenic island green stationed 173 yards in the distance.
#14 is a double-dogleg par-5.
