The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch Golf Course opened for play in 2006. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
A chain of hilltops form the perimeter of the golf community, encircling the 7,464-yard course that wanders through the oak laced valley below. Fairways and greens undulate between natural limestone canyons. Cascading water features, challenging golf, and 25-mile views of the Guadalupe River Valley are hallmarks of this course.
Early on, Nicklaus and the development team made a commitment to create a core design rather than having homes fronting both sides of the fairways. Estates nestled amongst acreage home sites are set back from the course and camouflaged by the terrain. Live oaks and indigenous grasses along with a strict adherence to the architectural guidelines are characteristics of Cordillera Ranch that make it truly unique.
