Riverview Golf Club first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by Billy Martindale.
A nice water tributary called Buffalo Creek winds its way through the course layout and comes into play on ten of the holes. At the present time there are no bunkers, but with strategically placed trees and nine elevated greens, the course offers up challenges with its fun.
Riverview Country Club was formerly Nolan River Country Club, which was moved up the road from the Nolan River in the early 60's. At one time, legendary golfer Ben Hogan was the head golf professional at Nolan River CC. Riverview changed its name to Riverview Golf Club to place emphasis on the sport and the course as opposed to a social establishment.
