Clear Creek Golf Course, formerly known as Anderson Golf Course, is a Military, 27 hole golf course located in Fort Hood, Texas. The course is playable in three eighteen hole combinations.
The course first opened for play in 1948. The course was designed by Perry Maxwell and Press Maxwell.
It features wide fairways and elevated greens. There are numerous trees lining the fairways that can affect your shots. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on a number of holes.
Fort Hood’s own country club is located off of Clear Creek Road, easily accessible and open to the public. The premiere, 27-hole championship golf course offers all of the amenities of a private country club, with none of the membership fees. Annual punch cards and passes are available, as well as twilight discounts of up to 40%, during designated hours.
The facility also has practice greens with sand bunkers, a short game practice area and the large, turf driving range.
