Detailed description
River Crest Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Fort Worth, Texas.

River Crest Country Club first opened for play in 1911. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow. The course was redesigned by Williams, Gill & Associates in 1996.

River Crest, Fort Worth’s oldest, most storied country club, opened in the spring of 1911. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, the club was the first in Texas to include a residential housing development on its acreage. It was the first to stage a statewide women’s golf tournament, and its members founded the Women’s Texas Golf Association in 1916.

This exclusive club's short course was built on flat terrain, but it is still tough because of its extremely narrow fairways and small greens. Water hazards only come into play on a couple of holes.

Par for the River Crest Country Club golf course is 70. River Crest plays to a maximum distance of 6,368 yards and a course rating of 70.8 with a 132 slope rating.
