Eastern Hills Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Garland, Texas.
The course opened for play in 1954. The course was designed by Ralph Plummer.
The course is more hilly than typical for the area. Water comes into play on a third of the holes.
#10 is a long par-3 measuring 219-yards from the back tees to a well-bunkered green with a creek on the right side. When hitting into the win, the challenge gets a bit dicey.
Blue tees: par-70, 6,502 yards, 72.4 / 134
White tees: par-70, 6,057 yards, 70.2 / 130
Gold tees: par-70, 5,412 yards, 66.6 / 125
Red tees: par-71, 5,213 yards, 71.7 / 124
The course closed in 2014.
The abandoned Eastern Hills Country Club clubhouse was destroyed by fire on March 13, 2017. The clubhouse had been sitting vacant for 3 years and was an attractive nuisance, a magnet for vagrants and vandals. The entire Country Club has been neglected since it was sold at auction by the Bankruptcy Court in 2014.%u200B
