Perfect for a day trip or even better for a weekend golf getaway, Squaw Valley features beautiful vistas of century old Oak trees and Squaw Creek that meanders through both courses
The Apache Links Golf Course____________________________
Apache Links Golf Course's front ninend its back nine has narrow fairways that are tree lined and undulating. The course has some mounding to the flat terrain, and a scenic creek comes into play, mostly on the back.
# 9 is the best hole on the front because of its split fairway. "Hit it and rip it" golfers can go for the green by aiming over the lake, however most golfers would be advised to play the 362 yardstee to green down left side, where it doglegs around the lake.
#15 and 16 are tough back-to-back par 4s. #15 measures 462 yards and doglegs right, requiring a tee shot over the creek. The long approach is especially challenging due to the long row of trees at the corner of the green. #16 has an elevated green above Squaw Creek. Play for position off the tee because the hole is not long and you're going to want to go for the green..
