Brae Burn Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Houston, Texas.
Brae Burn Country Club first opened for play in 1926. The course was designed by John Bredemus. The course was redesigned by Carlton Gipson in 1991. The course is again being redesigned in 2021, this time the course architect is Tripp Davis.
This shotmaker's course is hidden within some very scenic woods. Water comes into play on several holes. The course puts a premium on shot placement off the tees. There are opportunities for long hitters to cut off some yardage but not without the risk of posting a big number. The course has dramatic elevation changes and a rolling character, unexpected in a course so close to the inner city.
