Inwood Forest Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1968. The courses were designed by Donald Collett.
All three of the 9-hole segments at Inwood Forest Golf & Country Club play tight with out-of-bounds stakes on every hole. The East Course is a little longer than the other courses. There are water hazards that come into play on six holes. The West Course has a bayou that comes into play on six or seven holes. There are an additional four holes that have water on them. The North Course is considered the easiest of the three courses and the most used. The West Course's signature hole is #2, a 180-yard, par 3, which is surrounded by woods and has a creek that crosses the fairway in front of the green.
