The Stonetree Golf Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Jay Riviere. It was later redesigned by Roy Reynolds in the 1970s. The course was completely renovated in 2005 by Lee Singletary.
The front nine at Stonetree Golf Club is more difficult than its back nine. The greens are well maintained, and the width of the fairways range from narrow to wide open.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,213 yards. From the forward tees the course plays to 5,385 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 556 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 179 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 456 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Stonetree Golf Club is # 18, a 347 yard par-4.
