Lakeridge Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course in Lubbock, Texas.
LakeRidge Country Club' was designed by Billy Martindale and Don January. The course first opened for play in 1978.
Mature strands of trees frame tight emerald fairways and heavily bunkered greens, with water coming into play on nearly every hole - creating strategic diversity and a stunning backdrop for golf.
Renowned for its premier greens and exceptional beauty, LakeRidge’s signature holes include the par-3 fourth hole, which plays 187 yards from the back tees - featuring a water front, an extremely sloped green and a large bunker on the right. The par-5 sixth hole also provides a challenging set-up, featuring a fairway framed by a road on the right, a lake on the left, and a creek crossing the fairway at 250 yards off the tee. On the back nine, the dogleg-left 17th hole - a 453-yard monster, offers considerable exhilaration, featuring an undulating, tree-lined fairway and a bunker protecting the right front of the green.
Members enjoy various social and competitive golf events throughout the year, including golf tournaments and leagues, mixers, inter-club matches, and the annual club championships, The Stampede.
