Reese Golf Center is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Lubbock, Texas.
Reese Golf Course first opened for play in 1956. The course was a military golf course located on Reese Air Force Base. The base was closed 30 September 1997 after being selected for closure by the Base Realignment and Closure Commission in 1995 and is now a research and business park called Reese Technology Center.
The course was moved under civilian control in 1997 by George Williams.
The course has wide fairways, doglegs, and strategically-placed bunkers. Water comes into play on several holes, placing a premium on accuracy. The course plays to a maximum distance of 6,367 yards. This par-72 layout has a course rating of 69.9 and the slope of 120.
