Hogan Park Golf Course is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Midland, Texas. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are the Quail Run Course and the Roadrunner Course.
The Quail Run Course at Hogan Park first opened for play in 1958.
The Quail Run Course has small greens and wide fairways. There is a lake that comes into play on several holes. The terrain is flat and easy to walk.
The course has a flat, traditional layout with narrow fairways and large, undulating greens. Trees that were planted back in the 1950's have grown up, providing some character to the otherwise flat, desert landscape.
#4, a 445-yard, par 4 is considered the most difficult hole, It plays uphill through a chute of trees, then doglegs right into a multi-tiered green protected by water. Multi-tiered is an understatement, there is a four-foot difference between the top and bottom levels.
