Oakhurst Golf Club

Oakhurst Golf Club, previously named Bentwood Country Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Porter, Texas.

Originally opened as Bentwood Country Club, the golf course first opened for play in 1994. The course was designe by Dave Marr and Jay Riviere. The golf course underwent a $1.5 million renovation in 2004 and became the new Oakhurst Golf Club.

The 18 holes and 7,002 Championship yards meander among the towering pines and hardwoods native to the area.The course presents a formidable but not overwhelming challenge. The course offers a balance of straight-aways and doglegs with each offering wide fairways and challenging approaches. The greens are massive, averaging 7500 square feet, and they are well manicured and consistent.

Oakhurst is located north of Houston on Highway 59.
