Refugio County Country Club

Refugio County Country Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Refugio, Texas.

The course opened for play in 1940.

The fairways lined with large oak and pecan trees.  The greens are small and fairly slow, and the terrain consists of gently rolling hills.  A ditch comes into play on five holes and a water tank, which is played as a hazard, comes into play between holes #6 and #7.  

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,779 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,218 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 455 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2 a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.

Membership in Refugio County Country Club ($51 per month) entitles one and his/her immediate family the privilege of enjoying all the facilities and activities of the club. These include unlimited golf played on the club course, unlimited privileges in the club pool, and access to social events as well as access to the clubhouse and its facilities. Membership is not limited to just Refugio County residents. Many winter Texans from neighboring cites are members and regularly play golf at Refugio County Country club.
